I added permanent links to two new blogs. One is Nate's blog. Nate works with Marye at Senator Dayton's office. Nate's blog kicks ass. It is hilarious and informative. The other addition is Chris Mitchell's blog. Chris graduated from Macalester in 2001. He is what Klinker calls a "dirty hippy."
Books: Check Them Out At Your Local Library
While in transit to work, I have been reading The Secret Agent by Joseph Conrad. JC has rich diction and syntax. Here's a passage about an anarchist, the professor, walking through the city, dismayed by his inability to effect change:
"He was in a long, straight street, peopled by a mere fraction of an immense multitude; but all round him, on and on, even to the limits of the horizon hidden by the enormous piles of bricks, he felt the mass of mankind mighty in its numbers. They swarmed numerous like locusts, industrious like ants, thoughtless like a natural force, pushing on blind and orderly and absorbed, impervious to sentiment, to logic, to terror, too, perhaps."
I am also reading The Jungle by Upton Sinclair. I have always wanted to read this book, but I didn't actually pick it up until I was inspired to do so by Aaron Ritz. It's a great book.
In other news, I took a hit to my manliness when I found out my neck is not twenty inches.

Bane, if it makes you feel any better, my neck is not 20 inches. If I were to guess, i would say not even Einar has a 20 inch neck. I bet your neck is bigger than Tim's.
