my favorite commercial was the fedex/kinkos commercial.

i was also offended by many of the things i saw on tv while watching the super bowl.
things i was most offended by:
4. the erectile dysfunction commercials
3. the prominent pneumatic busts and cleavage of the cheerleaders
2. the patriots allowed a player with the last name of gay to play
1. fox did not censor the player with the last name of gay, thus pushing the gay agenda

Outspoken state senator takes step toward congressional run

ST. PAUL - Second-term state Sen. Michele Bachmann, a Republican best known for her dogged pursuit of a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage, has taken a concrete step toward running for Congress.
Bachmann told GOP activists in a letter last week that she was setting up an exploratory campaign committee to weigh a bid for the 6th Congressional District seat. She is one of several Republicans expected to get into the race if incumbent Rep. Mark Kennedy runs for the U.S. Senate in 2006 against Democratic Sen. Mark Dayton.
In the letter, Bachmann, of Stillwater, extolls her conservative views.
"I have been a leading proponent of defending the right to life of the unborn, upholding our second amendment rights, including range protection and private property rights," Bachmann wrote. "Last year I led the effort in Minnesota to pass a constitutional amendment protecting the sanctity of traditional marriage between one man and one woman."
The 6th District stretches from the St. Cloud area across the northern Twin Cities suburbs to the Stillwater area. It includes all or most of Anoka, Benton, Sherburne, Stearns, Washington and Wright counties.
Other Republicans exploring campaigns are: former education commissioner Cheri Pierson Yecke, Secretary of State Mary Kiffmeyer, and state Reps. Jim Knoblach and Rep. Phil Krinkie.
On the Democratic side, Kennedy's 2004 challenger Patty Wetterling is the most talked-about candidate for 2006.

Bachmann is quite good at pushing her agenda. she is the republican who introduced a motion (?) to honor Ronald Reagan. This doesn't seem such an awful thing, but when considering the fact that she called for a roll-call vote, it puts dems in a tough position.
Bane, thanks for the props. In case anyone is wondering, my consulting is not free. Bane chose to pay me in premium and sloppy joe's (made with love). Since I am one to put a price tag on emotion, I would gauge that the good feelings put into the grain belt purchase and sloppy joes production was equal to about $76 (USD). Along with 6 premo's and the 3 sandwiches, I think the standard consultation fee stands at $85* for any future clients.
*Does not include mileage.
What troubles me most about gays ruining marriage is that I never even had a chance. At least you got to experience a few years of marriage, Bane. Me? I'm not married and now will never get the chance because those gays have ruined the institutue of marriage for me.
